Children learn about alpacas at Play Out

Holiday club visit for furry friends

Play Out welcomes alpacas for Holiday Club fun

There was fleecy fun in store for children at Play Out’s Holiday Club during half term when they were visited by four alpacas.

Hilly Ridge Alpaca Farm brought along Icarus, Hurricane, Nigel and The Negotiator to visit the children on Thursday, May 28.

The visit was arranged after the children had requested a surprise visit from an animal.

They had the chance to stroke and walk the alpacas while learning all about them.

The visit gave children a chance to have a hands-on experience, to gain knowledge of different animals and to take part in activities that they may not experience at home or in the local community.

Holiday club is open to anyone, costs £40 a day and covers 8am to 6pm. All meals are included. For more information and booking, email ipswich@play-out.co.uk.
