Skydive

Santa Skydive 2026

Are you ready to take a festive plunge from 13,000 feet?

We’re looking for a team of Santas-in-training to take a festive plunge this winter to raise money for Ormiston Families (jingling sleighbells optional, but encouraged)!

Every Santa 13,000 feet in the air means more help for children and families who need it the most. That means more mental health counselling for suffering children. More bereavement support for those who’ve lost a loved one. More help for parents and children needing SEND support. And more connected communities of stronger families across the East of England in 2027 and beyond.

To give them this amazing gift this year and tick a huge item off your bucket list, we ask everyone interested to pay a non-refundable £50 deposit to register and aim for a minimum fundraise of £400 to support our work. We also ask that you set up a JustGiving page linked to Ormiston Families to help us track and celebrate your progress! The team will be there with helpful advice and support should you need it.

If you’re ready for the thrill of a lifetime, follow the link here and book your place today!

What you’ll experience on jump day
  • A festive day in Beccles, cheered on by the Ormiston Families team and supporters
  • A 13,000 foot tandem freefall in festive gear
  • A true bucket-list experience
  • The pride of knowing every foot you freefall will support families in need

Why your fundraising matters

Your support helps us provide specialist early intervention services for children, young people and families facing difficult times in their life. Whether that’s coping with a family separation, navigating the impact of a parent’s imprisonment, finding support after a bereavement or having a child removed into care.

Every £20 raised can fund a skilled practitioner for one hour, helping a child feel seen,  heard and more hopeful for the future.

Together, Team Ormiston Families is aiming to raise £5,000, enough to fund 250 hours of specialist support for those who need us most.

Terms & Conditions

Please read the terms carefully before making your booking.

  • Event organiser
The event is delivered and managed by UK Parachuting, who are responsible for all operations, safety and final participant approval.

  • Registration deposit
You are responsible for paying the £50 non-refundable deposit on the date of booking. Then, simply do your best to raise the recommended £400 sponsorship amount and aim to exceed this target if you can. Partial sponsorship raised goes towards the cost of your skydive.
  • Minimum age
All runners must be 16 years old or over on jump day.

  • Weight restrictions
For health and safety reasons during your jump, UK Parachuting have weight limits of 100 kg for male participants and 99 kg for female participants. There is no height restriction, but they advise your weight should be roughly proportional to your height. You are also required to have the ability lift your legs up in front of you to avoid injury to yourself and your instructor on landing. You must have the strength, flexibility and limb control to achieve this.
  • Fundraising expectations (VATsafe)
We ask participants to aim to raise around £400. This is entirely voluntary and not a condition of entry, meaning every penny you raise, plus Gift Aid, goes directly towards supporting children and families.
  • Event terms
All participants must agree to and comply with the event organiser’s official terms and conditions found here.
  • Photography and publicity
By joining Team Ormiston Families, you consent to us using nonidentifying photos or content from the event for promotional purposes, unless you notify us otherwise.

Ready to make a difference?

Register your interest today and help us continue supporting families when they need us most.

A thank you to our supporters

Our sincere thanks extend to Totally Branded for their generous donation of all of our challenge event race shirts. We know our runners will wear these with pride.
