Run the Ipswich Half Marathon with Ormiston Famiies!

Make a splash at The Whole Hog 2026!

Take on a challenge that will help us change lives across the East of England.

The Whole Hog returns on Sunday 4th October 2026, and we’d love you to join Team Ormiston Families and get muddy for families in need of your support. Every mile you run (or squelch through) helps children, young people and families across our region feel safe, supported and hopeful for a brighter future.

Signing up to race the Whole Hog (or Boss Hog) for Ormiston Families means you’ll pay just £15 (or £20 if you opt for the Boss Hog).
That’s 70% off the standard entry fee.

We kindly ask runners to aim to raise around £140 to support our work with children, young people and families across the East of England. This is not a condition of entry, and no part of your fundraising is a payment for goods or services.

To help us track and celebrate your progress, we ask that you set up a JustGiving page linked to Ormiston Families.

Your fundraising helps us take early action so families can thrive. Not just today, but long into the future.

What you’ll experience on race day

  • One of the county’s most unique challenge events with 30 obstacles over 5 miles
  • Or a bigger ‘Boss Hog’ challenge (40 obstacles over 7 miles)
  • A vibrant atmosphere and lots of mud!
  • Watch a video of the race in action

What you’ll get as part of Team Ormiston Families

  • A branded running vest
  • Fundraising tips, resources and encouragement
  • Support from our team every step of the way
  • The knowledge that your efforts are helping families see a brighter future

Why your fundraising matters

Your support helps us provide specialist services for children, young people and families facing difficult moments, whether that’s coping with separation, navigating the impact of a parent’s imprisonment or finding support after a bereavement.

Every £20 you raise can fund one of our skilled practitioners for one hour, helping a child feel heard, understood and more hopeful for the future.

Together, Team Ormiston Families is aiming to raise £5,000, which is enough to fund 250 hours of specialist support for those who need us most.
