Every donation, grant and partnership helps us deliver life-changing support for children, young people and families across the East of England.

Your support makes a difference

Ormiston Families relies on several income streams to deliver our vital support services to children, young people and families in the East of England.

From the generous support of individual and corporate donors, to those who give in memory, in celebration or leave a legacy in their will, we can rally the support of the communities we make a difference in for sustainable success.

We also rely on government funding and donations from trusts and other grants to fund our services, sometimes as part of multi-year contracts.

In 2024/25, we raised £7,652,000 to continue our work supporting families in the East of England. We spent £7,595,000 on our work to make sure our doors stayed open for people who needed support.

  3. Trust and other grants: £563,000
  4. Fees and other income: £456,000

Expenditure 2024/25

  1. Services supporting families: £5,113,000
  2. Services for those affected by the justice system: £1,924,000
  3. Raising grants and other income: £558,000

In total, this money helped us to reach almost 4,800 families. In addition, we welcomed nearly 70,000 visitors to our prison visit centres.
