We’ll be trekking across the stunning landscape of southern Iceland, taking in breathtaking views of majestic mountains, icy glaciers, bubbling hot springs, erupting geysers and cascading waterfalls over five action-packed days.
Our bold adventurers will be staying in remote huts nestled amid tranquil lakes and towering mountains, immersed in the heart of nature. At night, dark skies offer the perfect opportunity to see the spectacular Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) painting the skies with a spectacular display of celestial light.
We will take advantage of seeing the region’s beautiful landscapes in winter. Snow underfoot will make for challenging walking, but no technical expertise is required to take part. The three main trekking days will consist of between four to six hours of walking each day.
You will also have the chance to explore Reykjavik, visit the Blue Lagoon or even take a dip in the natural springs you will find along your way!

Fundraising Option
Pay a registration fee of £299 today to secure your place, then £3,300 to Ormiston Families approximately 10 weeks before departure.
Part-payment Option
Pay a registration fee of £299 today to secure your place, then £500 to Discover Adventure and £2,300 to Ormiston Families approximately 10 weeks before departure.
Full Payment Option
Pay a registration fee of £299 today to secure your place, then £1,650 to Discover Adventure approximately 8 weeks before departure. You can then arrange to make a separate payment to Ormiston Families.
