Senior Practitioner - Breaking Barriers
Your new job as just found you!
Ormiston families, Breaking Barriers Service
The Breaking Barriers project is part of the Unite Programme which works with prisoners and their families to minimise the impact of imprisonment on their children. Our services support family relationships to continue developing throughout the sentence, which plays a critical role in helping to reduce reoffending rates.
Breaking Barriers supports children and young people who have a close family member in prison – helping them to understand their situation and to manage their own feelings. We are now recruiting to the following role based at HMP Bedford working in Luton:
- Senior Practitioner
Part time, 25 hours per week; Starting salary £21,076 pro rata per annum
You will be supporting children and young people in Luton, and building the capacity of schools and other professionals to recognise and support these children.
