We are looking to recruit a Prison Support Worker at our service delivered from HMP Hollesley Bay.
Family Support Worker
Part-time position of 17.5 hours per week
Starting salary £18,129 pro rata per annum
Based in the Visitor’s Centre at HMP Hollesley Bay
Key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering planned interventions/play activities with children, families and offenders in the prison to achieve identified outcomes for children, young people and families.
- Carry out interviews with identified offenders to ascertain support needs.
To be successful you must be able to demonstrate experience of dealing with people in a customer service-based role, good communication skills and an understanding of safeguarding. It will be an advantage is you have experience of working directly with children, young people and their families using an appropriate range of techniques.
