Our Point 1 emotional wellbeing service offers professional mental health support to infants, children and young people experiencing emotional problems and early signs of mental ill-health. Run in partnership with MAP and Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust, the service is available to any child or young person living in Norfolk or Waveney, or registered with a Norfolk of Waveney GP.

By addressing early signs of mental ill-health, Point 1 support sessions help infants, children and young people to feel safe and to build resilience, improving their chances of going on to achieve their full potential.

As well as working with young people affected by mental ill-health, we also work with the local community to de-stigmatise issues around mental health. Our aim is to raise awareness so that children, young people and their families understand when and how to seek support.

One in ten children is experiencing mental health problems right now.
