Our Point 1 emotional wellbeing service offers professional mental health support to infants, children and young people experiencing emotional problems and early signs of mental ill-health. Run in partnership with MAP and Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust, the service is available to any child or young person living in Norfolk or Waveney, or registered with a Norfolk of Waveney GP.

We offer sessions in a variety of venues in your local community or, where appropriate, in your own home. Sometime’s it’s useful if intervention sessions are held in school.  If you think you may have problems accessing any of our venues, let us know and we will try to find a solution. We can also help you access other available services for your child.

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic we know that for many families this will be a very challenging time, and we want to reassure you that our teams are working hard to continue to offer services to children and young people experiencing mental health issues.  We are not currently offering face to face sessions, but we can offer self-help advice, telephone and video support (subject to normal wait times).
