Clinical Administrator

 Salary with counselling experience is £16,216 per annum (£27,027 FTE)

Salary without counselling experience £13,759 per annum (£22,932 FTE)

Based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Part Time – 21 hours per week

The Clinical Administrator plays a vital role in offering administrative support to the STARS Team in its work with bereaved children and their families. This varied role will involve both clinical and general administrative duties, from offering advice and support to parents during initial telephone enquiries to processing client referrals and presenting data to support governance. You will provide administrative support for the manager and counselling volunteers, ensuring information is held securely and confidentially in line with GDPR requirements.

The successful candidates will:

  • Have the ability to communicate with a wide range of people
  • Have an organised approach to carrying out administrative tasks and be a committed team player
  • Be competent in using databases and IT systems and processes
  • Demonstrate commitment to supporting the STARS staff and volunteers and the work of STARS in improving the lives of bereaved children and their families in Cambridgeshire

You will be working as part of STARS Children’s Bereavement Support Service. Stars is a specialist children’s bereavement support service providing 1-2-1 counselling support to children who have or will experience the loss of a family member or a significant person in their lives. The age group we support is usually from 4 to 19 years old.

The role is based in the STARS office is in Cambridge.
