Ormiston Families – Small Steps Together Service
Small Steps Together is a Perinatal support service based in Cambridgeshire. It is a preventative service working with those who are at risk of developing, or who have, low to moderate perinatal mental health and wellbeing needs. Perinatal is an umbrella term used to refer to the period of time covering pregnancy and up to a year after giving birth. We can support families up until the youngest child’s second birthday. Modern day life can bring its own stresses and strains which can become heightened during the perinatal period causing additional levels of anxieties and concerns. We offer a package of services which can involve 1-1 support, to access community services, ensuring they are getting the right level of help. We also run within the project physical and emotional based activities for parents and their children to attend.
