Ormiston Families – Income Generation
We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Fundraising Development Manager to join Ormiston Families. Reporting to the Director of Income Generation and Marketing, the post holder will work to meet ambitious fundraising targets to support Ormiston Families’ income generation and development.
Fundraising Development Manager
Permanent full-time position, 35 hours per week; starting salary £29,912 per annum
Based in Ipswich, Central Office
The post holder will identify, cultivate, and create opportunities to engage individual philanthropists and corporates, including corporate foundations, with the aim of securing significant gifts and mutually beneficial partnerships in support of the strategic objectives of the charity.
The role has responsibility for working with and developing Ormiston Families’ valuable network of supporters, patrons, and senior volunteers, and using these networks to cultivate new individual prospects. The post holder will also provide creative and strategic opportunities and events across the year to inspire supporters about the work of Ormiston Families, ultimately resulting in donor retention and recruitment.
The post holder will collaborate with other members of the income generation team, to deliver first class fundraising activities and events on behalf of the organisation.
The successful candidate will be educated to a degree level or have significant relevant experience. They will have a strong knowledge of fundraising strategies and best practice in relation to investment from corporate funders.
