Head of Communication and Engagement 

Full-time, permanent position (part-time considered); 35 hours per week

The scale for this post is grade 11, point 41 £39,382.00 per annum, based on 35 hours per week

Hybrid with regular travel across East of England 

 

Sitting at the heart of the organisation, this pivotal new role exists to develop and deliver the central marketing and communications strategy for the entire charity and its future endeavours.

Reporting to the Director of Income Generation and Marketing, as the organisation’s lead marketing and communications specialist, you will be responsible for increasing opportunities to communicate and showcase our achievements and impact to existing and new audiences.

This is an exciting time to join Ormiston Families and for you to make your mark. You will work with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, all of whom need to be communicated with in differing, dynamic and frequently digital ways.  You will champion a team culture of delivering a high quality service to our “customers” across the organisation, meeting their needs with innovative and achievable marketing solutions.

Upholding and promoting the integrity of the Ormiston Families brand and tone of voice, you will lead the communications and marketing team who are collectively responsible for design, social media engagement, website management, print, press and PR.
