Cluster Manager – Suffolk
Ormiston Families’ HM Prisons Family Support Service
This is a permanent full-time post
Starting salary £31,120
Based at either HMP Highpoint, HMP Warren Hill or HMP Hollesley Bay
The role of the cluster manager is to lead, manage and develop high quality family support services across your prisons ensuring we provide dedicated support, information and where appropriate signposting through our welcoming and family friendly visitor centres. The centres are designed to be a hub of information and support, offering a confidential space to talk with one of our specialist staff and a gateway to support with families keeping in contact with their loved ones during their sentence whilst assisting to navigate communication channels with the prison where appropriate.
In addition, you will oversee case management of work with prisoners, group delivery sessions in addition to 1-2-1 based sessions such as ‘story book dads’. You will work closely with various HMP Governors to ensure our service delivery is contract compliant and agile to meet changing needs / demands within a complex environment.
The post holder will play an active role in recruiting, coordinating, and supervising to ensure our services are reaching appropriate standards and achieving relevant outcomes for children, young people and their families.
You will be a highly motivated and organised individual with case and employee management experience and good knowledge of current legislation regarding to young people and families. You must have a relevant professional or vocational qualification at NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
