Ormiston Families – Finance
We are looking for an experienced business analyst/management accountant to expand our finance team as we celebrate our 40th anniversary and transition to our next 3 year strategy building upon the growth and resilience achieved during the last 3 years.
Business Analyst
Permanent, full-time position, 35 hours per week
Starting salary £34,478 per annum
Based at our Ipswich or Norwich Office with home working during Covid-19 and some travel to service locations in the East of England
Drawing upon their extensive experience and combining it with the exciting service opportunities available to the charitable group we are looking for a candidate who can take the lead in analysing our monthly results, generate reporting dashboards and produce our 3 year forecast and budget, developing this into a rolling continuum of business analysis.
Producing costings and budgets for funding applications using our excel based financial model, review and recommended updates to our standard costing rate tables within the model. Monitoring and forecasting of restricted fund expenditure and service funding requirements.
Good excel and communication skills will be essential in addition to accounting knowledge and experience of accounting software.
Reporting to the Finance Manager the role will be working with service managers and directors to model and review the financial needs for our charitable services informing both operational and strategic decision making, this will involve working remotely using video conference facilities and some travel across the region to our service locations as necessary.
