Traveller Advocate Project

The Ormiston Traveller advocate project is part of a multi-agency, health, education and advocacy team.

The team works directly with the entire traveller community in Cambridgeshire.

The Ormiston advocacy worker supports the most vulnerable traveller families on a wide range of emerging and presenting issues, including well-being support, housing and benefit issues, access to education etc.

The service also supports travellers accessing specialist services, which includes signposting and advocating on behalf of the family.
