Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II – A Statement from our CEO

It is with the greatest of sympathy and sadness, that Ormiston Families acknowledges the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Throughout her 70 year reign, The Queen has been an unwavering supporter of so many charities and causes, such as ours.

In particular, she has shown great appreciation for the work of organisations whose core purpose has been to improve the lives of children, young people, and the family network.

As a charity based in the East of England, we have been fortunate to have staged festive carol services on Her Majesty’s Sandringham estate in years gone by, and for that we are exceptionally grateful.

As the world mourns, we pay tribute to The Queen and give thanks for her lifetime of service and devotion.

Given the exceptional circumstances, and appropriate observances likely to be set in place nationally in the coming days, we will of course keep you informed of any temporary disruption in our service delivery.

Sending our good wishes to all, as the nation collectively mourns such a significant loss to our country.
