A Brighter Challenge

Ormiston Families is delighted to be launching A Brighter Challenge for 2022 to help make fundraising for the communities closest to you as simple as possible.

Every month throughout 2022, you will be able to sign up to take part in a month-long challenge of your choice!

We will provide you with inspiration and a themed tracker to help you decide what your challenge will be.

It’s FREE to take part in, we just ask that you try and raise £30 during the month, which could fund one support session for a child or young person with a practitioner.

You will receive a medal in the post once you have reached the £30 target.

Our theme for January, February and March is ‘Health & Wellbeing’ which is at the heart of many of the services we provide to children, young people and families across the East of England. We believe that prioritising health and wellbeing is key to discovering a brighter future.

Ideas for a health and wellbeing-focused challenge could include:

Cycling instead of driving or taking the bus

Cooking a healthy new recipe once a week

Walking a certain number of steps each day

Practicing yoga or meditation once a week

Jogging, running or walking a number of miles or kilometres over the month

Giving up your favourite sugar-filled snack

Giving up buying your daily coffee

You can register to take part in this month’s Brighter Challenge until 4th January 2022.
