Help for young people

Young people today face all sorts of worries and issues. Click on the subjects below and we will signpost you to ways Ormiston might be able to help or other organisations who have experts who can help you.

Worried about your dad or another relative in prison?

We have services across the East of England which can support you and your family while your dad or another relative is in prison. Click here to find out more about our services and which prisons we work with.

Being a teenage parent?

Our children’s centres in the region offer support for young and teenage parents to help you through the early years with your new young family. Click here to find out more about our children’s centres.

Being a young carer?

Young carers are young people who take on some of the roles and responsibilities of an adult - perhaps because someone in their family has a disability or a problem with drugs or alcohol. These young people might do extra housework, help with health issues or look after younger brothers and sisters. Click here to find out how we help young carers and if we can’t help you we will let you know who can.
