Visiting HMP Wayland

Our friendly team at HMP Wayland will do all they can to make your visit as easy as possible.

• extended children’s visits (one Monday each month 11.00-15.30)
• extended family visits (most Mondays each month 11.00am -15.30pm)
• a staffed play area within domestic visits
• an accredited parenting course for fathers within the prison
• family liaison work
• weekly induction for all prisoners offering information about our services
• photographs for prisoners who do not have visits, to send to their children and families.

Visitors Centre

Please note that the Visits Centre is run by HMP Wayland and can be contacted on 01953 804152. Visits can be booked via email by clicking here socialvisits.wayland@hmps.gsi.gov.uk

The Visits Centre is open:

Tuesday to Sunday:

8.30am – 4pm

Monday:

9.30pm – 4pm

There is wheel chair access to the centre and the prison. A Stannah lift is used to access the Visits Room.
