Trustees, Based in East Anglia
Voluntary
Ormiston Children & Families Trust is one of the largest voluntary organisations in the Eastern Region committed to making a difference and working towards a society where every child and young person feels valued, safe, and free from prejudice, isolation and stigma.
We provide direct services to more than 16,000 children, young people and their families. With a proven record of providing services that make a difference we are active in raising awareness of issues which affect children and young people through action research, publications, conferences and events.
You should be willing to commit an average of one day each month, attend four day time board meetings a year and be willing to participate in the Trustee programme of visiting services. Travel expenses are provided.
Ormiston Trustees have ultimate responsibility for the governance of our organisation, ensuring that we are financially solvent, well-run and delivering charitable outcomes for the benefit of children, young people and their families.
