HMP Bure is a male C category prison situated near the village of Coltishall, 9 miles outside Norwich. Ormiston manages the Visitors Centre (see opening times below) and provides the following support and services within the prison:
- children's visits
- family liaison
We can also provide:
- a friendly welcome and information about the prison
- snacks and drinks (vending machines)
- toilet facilities (including facilities for the disabled and baby changing)
- information on support services, health issues, benefits and travel
- a play area for children

How to get there:
- Train: Train to Norwich, a mini bus from Norwich Train station is provided by the prison or taxis are available.
- Car: Take B1150 out of Norwich, stay on this road, when you reach a small roundabout outside a restaurant called the Recruiting Sergeant go straight over (second exit). Follow the road over the bridge and round to the left. Take the first left on to Great Hautbois Road continue on this road to a T junction, take the right turn which is also over a small bridge. Continue on this road and HMP Bure will be signposted from there.
Parking is available at the prison.
There is wheelchair access to the centre and the prison.
