The Ormiston Centre is an exciting community project with excellent facilities for supporting children, young people and families through a range of health promoting physical activities, sport and learning opportunities. The emphasis is on providing fun activities which promote physical and social well-being rather than ability or excellence.

We offer physical and sporting activities for children and young people with a disability or special educational need with the aim of increasing confidence and self-esteem enabling them to realise their full potential.

We are also developing sessions which encourage parental participation meaning that families can enjoy the activities together.

All the sessions are provided at low cost enabling youngsters to take part regardless of their circumstances.

The Ormiston Centre also provides a community venue for sporting and social activities run by local organisations.
