Ormiston Young People's Service helps young people aged between 5 to 16 years and their families, who are experiencing difficult times in their lives. It will be your child's choice whether they want to see us and where they would like to meet.

• we will be sensitive to your needs and any problems that you face
  
• listen to all points of view and help family members to understand each other better
  
• we can offer your child time in a safe space to talk to someone who will listen. They will be supported to increase their skills to deal with the difficulties they face
  
• we will support you with practical ideas and techniques to help you support your child
  
• we can put you in touch with other agencies that may also be able to support you
  
• we will support you to improve communication with school and with other agencies
